Yahsat believes that strong corporate governance delivers long-term, sustainable value for our shareholders and the wider world. So, governance informs every decision we make together: from formulating our overarching strategy and purpose, to setting the tone of our company culture and instilling values that we can be proud of across the entire Group.
Workforce: Yahsat’s people are critical to the successful delivery of its strategy. Guided by our founding Emirati values, we pay attention and care to maintaining inclusivity, diversity among our workforce.
Board Committees: Yahsat Board is collectively responsible for the oversight and success of our business. Through its committees, the Board ensures that the importance of compliance and integrity is recognized at all levels, throughout the Group. Yahsat has 2 women on its Board of Directors, which again is strongly reflective of our commitment to maintaining gender parity and providing equal opportunities to women.
Shareholders: Yahsat maintains an active dialogue with our shareholders throughout the year through regular performance updates via phone and email. This ensures that the shareholder views are taken into account when Board decisions are taken.
