Eisa Al Shamsi is responsible for Yahsat’s government business involving the engineering and delivery of state-of-the-art turnkey solutions to meet the strategic and tactical needs of various UAE and regional government entities. With his extensive technical and commercial expertise, Eisa drives the business of Yahsat Government Solutions (YGS), delivering both growth by expanding Yahsat’s footprint in the region, and value by widening the Group's presence across the value chain. He joined Yahsat in 2010. Prior to his roles as General Manager and Deputy Manager of YGS, he was the Executive Vice President of Engineering and Programme Management at YGS, overseeing all government programmes and responsible for designing and delivering the Yahsat Military network. Eisa has over 18 years of experience.

Prior to his positions at Yahsat, Eisa was part of the UAE Armed Forces Signal Corps from 2004 to 2010, where he had the honour to be part of the Yahsat satellites' (AY1 and AY2) development programme in Toulouse.

Eisa holds an EMBA from INSEAD and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
